Jim: I suspect there were other British engineered models got the finishing touch at Louisville. I have a Canadian 1975 buyers guide. these were always different from US guide. I've never been up close on most of these, however it was always my understanding if that British chassis had a swept back front axle, it came from Louisville. Two models in this 75 guide are 454 and 464. I also saw a 364 in PA, we never saw that one in Canada. Another one we did get was a 354.
None of these sold very big in Canada, we seemed to go for the British assembled versions with straight front axle. I never was in the market for that size tractor. We do know IH wanted to sell the British assembled models here in Canada. By 1965 we did manage to get duty off the big Farmalls coming from the US, however the Canadian government wouldn't budge on anything under 50 hp for another 15 years. In the late 60s we could buy a 40 hp 434 diesel with live PTO for less money than a 140. I think 300 and 350 steering also steered Canadians away from the Louisville assembled British tractors with swept bacl axles.
