I did something like that. Getting SP swather ready for harvest. Tank was nearly empty on gas so went and got couple gallons from fuel tank. Started right up, ran for a little bit then let out a black cloud of smoke and died, wouldn't restart. Gas can was filled from deisel tank. Had to drain the tank and lines before it would start. BTDT
