I have removed a 1000 loader from a 140 a number of times. What worked best for me was to use blocks and hydraulic jacks to slowly lower it down to ground level, but be careful about tipping sideways as it can go over pretty easily and you need to keep the bucket high enough so you can get under it with the wheel. An engine hoist would come in handy to hold the arm up. Once it is on the ground, you can drive the tractor out, it takes a little doing and you have to put a block in front of the frame so the tire rides up and over. Just reverse the process to install.
