I am trying to fix a broken 1000 RPM pto shaft on a IH 1586. The CaseIH parts web site show that the 1586 only had a single speed PTO (1000 RPM), I clearly have a dual speed both 1000 and 540 RPM. The pictures for a Hydro 100 and Hydro 186 clearly match the PTO on my tractor. Would it have been possible for the PTO systems to be interchanged?
