The problem wasn�t the coil after all. Prior to me getting the tractor someone had a second gas line running from a valve between the tank and the sediment bowl to the back of the tractor to run some accessory off. The valve was restricting the gas flow so I disconnected all the extra line and ran a new line from the tank to the sediment bowl. Also there was a bit of crap in the bottom of the tank. I drained the tank, dried it out, and used a shop vacuum to suck out remaining dirt. I also made up a line that would protrude up into the tank about a half an inch so it would help in the future if anything collects on the bottom of the tank. Now it�s running good. Thanks for every ones help and suggestions. I have what may seem like a dumb question here. I didn�t pay close enough attention to the Fuel strainer/sediment bowl when I took it off. . When putting it back on I notice on the top of the Fuel strainer body it says �OUT� on one side. I figured �OUT� meant (out to the fuel pump). However, when I installed it like that the fuel just barely ran into the sediment bowl. I reversed it and the fuel flowed much better. Question is. Do I have it on backwards? If I do then why didn�t the fuel run freely into the sediment bowl when I had it on with the �OUT� to the sediment bowl? Also if anyone can help with the year of my tractor it would be appreciated. Nameplate on side of tractor says Model 2444 Serial 05602 Engine block says C153 then 49810 Tried to find year on Internet with no success, also have a serial number book for various tractors but mine is not listed in it.
