M Pistons

Have a 42 M that I have to replace the sleeves and pistons in. The overall condition of the tractor is very good.(tires, sheet metal, ect) I have been wondering if it would be a good idea to replace the old flat top pistons with the high dome ones. I understand the head, valves and other items are ok to use with this change. This is not a need for more power from the tractor as its only sees light duty. Any of you made this change? And if so was it worth the few extra bucks NAPA wants for the fire creater pistons?
