I just purchased a 400 planter and need to find the correct sprockets to use for planting soybeans. The chart on the planter does not have my drum size listed. I am looking for around 9 seeds per foot.
I am also wondering why ground speed is stated as critical? Doesn't the planter seed drum drive off of the planter wheel which will rotate relevent to your distance traveled?
I am new to this type of planter and any help would be appreciated.
