i dont hold much hope for newer diesel technology, at work we have a ford with the latest 07 emisions stuff, our older ones all got about 15 to 17 mpg, and our newest one is lucky to get 10mpg if ya drive it light and stay mostly highway. thank god my 89 dodge with a cummins gets about 22 mpg or i wouldnt be able to afford to go anywheres at all, even so it still was 80 bucks worth of fuel last time i went to new hampshire
