about 25-30 years ago my grandfather broke and rewelded the piece where the tail wheel attatches and the 2 beams come together on my dad/uncle's plow. my dad and uncle say that (edited to summarize) "it does not pull as easy or plow as good as did before he broke it." they go on to tell of how he was plowing through the fences too...???
looking at pictures of other semi mount plows and old pull types, the tail wheel is on the right side of the tail arm. this one is on the left. (as viewed from rear/sitting in tractor seat looking forward)
does not seem correct to me. did it get put on wrong when the repair was made? there is a lot of slop too in the steering linkage. it also needs new shares and other wear parts.
thanks
