I pulled pistons and valves yesterday, most of it went well, but I can't remove the safety valve piston from the block (part #20, page# 27, Touch Control - Serviceman's Handbook, GSS-1024).
Also, when I turn the block over, I hear a noise (a part rattling that I can't identify) that came about after I pulled all the valves and pistons. Any ideas?
Unfortunately there are a few scratches in the cylinder bore of the LH piston. I'm hoping that some work with crocus cloth will remedy this problem.
