Ive seen worse,,, where that is,,,, Id put about an inch of hard block in the water jackets,,, enough to put about a half inch over the highest pit,,,, wont be no water there to leak thru... wont be enough water missing to affect much,,,,, if your running dry sleeves,, say like a stock M sleeve,,, thats what Id do and not think about it ever again. Another option would be to maybe JB weld the pits shut,,,, smooth it out really well and then slip the sleeve in,, maybe add a dab of sleeve adhesive to help??? Id do the hard block trick,,,, if no boring is being done,,,, and sleeves are used,,, make sure the water jackets are super clean, maybe hottank or lightly sand blast the area before the filler is done,,,,,, to get the rust out of the bottom.
