Since you and Glen both answered the trivia right off, congradulations. I figured we would get a number of wrong guesses from other parts or the country where there were few Rice Field Special tractors. 1. Tires on WR/WDR were standard with larger I-1 single rib front and larger R-2 rice & cane rear. On steel wheel tractors front wheels were bigger and had 3 " guide rings on WR/WDR and rear wheels were bigger and had 6" lugs. Mud scrapers were also standard on steel equipped WR/WDR tractors.
2. Fenders were larger curved flat top coverage type and operator platform was larger to facilitate operating while standing.
3. A hand clutch was standard for easier operation while standing. (Hand clutch was optionsl on all other W models)
4. The foot decellerator was used to slow down while crossing rice levees.
