Chris: Are you absolutely sure of your information. To my knowledge, 434 was never built or assembled in the USA. The way you can tell, is all US assembled tractors in that size have a swept back front axle. If there is not a swept back front axle, the tractor was completely assembled at Doncaster England.
The 444 was and the differences are far more than sheet metal and electrical. In fact 424 and 444 tractors were shipped from Doncaster to Louisville as engine, transmission and rear end all assembled. From there everything was added with US manufactured parts, front bolster, radiator, swept back front axle, sheet metal, steering, electrical, dash, fenders, hydraulics and wheels.
