By golly this sounds like what I probably have. I never thought about them running 12v through a 6v starter, but the way you described it, that's most likely the way it's set up. Is there a lot I need to do to get the lights the way they are supposed to be or is it a simple bulb changing deal. What about the red bulb in the back? I should just put a little 12v light in it because all it is is a reflecter, right? Oh yeah while we're on the subject. Is there a total wiring harness that I can buy for the 12v system that has all the wiring from the generator clear back to the rear lights? Just wondering. Thanks again for all your help on this. This is my first tractor to restore and I want to do it right. I will probably use this board more and more as I put it back together. Jon.
