The points take some patience and finesse. I used the same brand of plug wires on my M and had the same issues, but found that with some warmth(summer) they straightened out. On the end that you cut and crimp the terminal on to I ran the copper conductor through the small hole in the center of the terminal and added a small dab of solder. Hope this helps.
