I was over at the Case IH site and ran into something thats has been talked about here from time to time.
I had asked and a few other had as well if there was a spring and/or how big the spring was on the lift link on a Super A. 140's have huge springs and I always figured the Super A must of had some type of spring.
Anyway, according to parts picture there wasnt a spring. I suspect this is why a lot of the lift link bars were bent.
Wonder why they made the collar like they did, sure looks like a spring should go there.
Just thought some of you Super A owners might want to know.
