Hugh, the C-123 was not cast on any SC blocks. That is why I ask how did he know it was a C-123. I am guessing that he measured the sleeves, and they were 3 and 1/8, so he may have just assumed it is a 123 block. Most of the old ones have had the overbore sleeves and pistons put in them over the years. If the block has the T casting code, it will be a C-113 block as that is 1950. My 52 and 53 SC 's do not have C-123 on either block. So you are right. If his block has the C-123 it would be from 100,200 and later.
