I have my H head off being reworked and it has step head pistons in it. A fellow told me that only flat head pistons come in 1940 H C152 engines. Also all the head bolt nuts were 3/4" but one it was 11/16" is this common? The fellow I got it from hia family bought this tractor new and he said no one had ever gone into the engine before. Water pump was all they had ever replaced.
