Bottom shaft is the counter shaft, top one is main shaft. If you have the pto shaft removed from inside counter shaft and the nut off the front. Rear pto shaft needs removed, then clutch and brake pedal cross shaft slid to one side, then remove pto shaft carrier bushing from rear of counter shaft.Take the strap bolt out on other end and you can leave bolt in bushing. Bushing with strap should slide out easy to rear. Now the counter shaft is removed out the rear with rear bearing on it. Sometimes the front bearing and then gears won't slide on the shaft very easy (actualy the shaft is sliding back through them) and sometimes they will. If you have to drive shaft back use something that won't damage threads or shaft.
