Once again, I apologize for the picture but the camera is having battery issues and will not auto focus. This picture is of the fuel needle with the clip installed on the NECK of the needle head. I was guessing when I did this as the clip came off the original before I could note position. This is correct if I understand you above? When installed in this fashion the float, via the clip, actually pulls the needle down slightly to load fuel into the carb. If these two positions in the pictures are correct AND there is no fuel in the actual float THEN my diagnosis is the poor seating of the new rubber tip float OR a float set too high OR both. Do the experts agree with this humble novice?
