I have an A that was stuck until saturday. I had been soaking it in penetrating oil for several months. I tried pulling it with another tractor and popping the clutch, but I had no luck. Friday night I pulled the head and tapped the pistons with a wooden block. All came loose but number 3. Then I upgraded to a 3 lb. sledge hammer, but no luck on number 3. I took a large punch and put it toward the edge of the piston and tapped lightly. I worked around the outside of the piston in a circular motion. After about three times, it popped loose. Motor sounds good when cranking, but have carb problems and have not gotten it started yet. Hope this helps.
