On my IH 424, when I first got it, if I went to apply the brakes, the left one would grab immediately and by grabbing I mean lock up immediately - no slow down - just lock up. Someone on here had recommended to someone else to take it on flat ground and put it in gear and force it to overpower the brakes - I did this and it smooths out for that time of use but the next time I go to use it (several days later) it will bind up again. I took the brake cover/housing off and blew out some dirt and bees nests but overall from what I saw, things looked ok. And in case you might think it's adjustment, I have about 1.75" of pedal travel before the brake grabs. Can anyone recommend anything for me to try?
