try puting a known good gauge on it first. could be just a bad pressure gauge. if the pressure still reads low, could be the bottom plate on the oil pump is worn. drop the oil pan, and the bottom of the oil pump will have 4 bolts, remove them, and the cover will come off. there is a spring that will come down too, with a metal cup on top. check the surface where the pump gears ride. if there is a groove worn in it, you can use emery cloth on a piece of flat steel or glass and sand it back smooth. i just did this on my farmall b. takes 6 sheet of emery cloth and about an hour and a half of sanding. you will need a new oil pan gasket and pump gasket too.
