Did soak the carb overnight. Fuel flows freely from disconnected fuel line and also the drain plug in the carb as the carb does get fuel. Changed needle and seat again this afternoon. Double checked float level @ 1-5/32 per the book and jets are open. Ran about 15 minutes and decided it was fixed and started down the road to my daughter's place - made it out of my barn lot almost to the road. Same story -it quit. Starts again and runs 5 seconds a couple attempts and then quits for good. There is still a super hot spark from the distributor when grounded to the block right after it dies. This is a 12 Volt converted system if that matters.
