Farmall 100 12 volt question

I need an alternator for my 12 volt conversion. I have a couple alternators but the front pully does not extend far enough out for the belt. The pully housing will not let me extend out enough. Can someone tell me what alternator to purchase that will give me the correct pully arrangement. I know some have the double pully but I don't think even that is far enough out for the belt. the pully off the generator has the same size shaft (diamator)but needs a long shaft alternator to work. The pully on the alternator will need to extend out several inches from the body (sorry but I did not measure it yet). The set up is two hole at 12 o'clock and six o'clock. I hope this discription isn't confusing. thanks for any help.
