i use the FRAM see-thru in-line filters with no problems and a simple shut off on the tank. those aftermarket have different sizes for the lines so i have avoided them and have several stock original sediment bowls. the old ones have to be checked as they have been overtightned in the past and are sprung. i get the gaskets and screens from NAPA
