I have a super c that has done that for 20 years and I use it a lot. I removed deck to check out bearings couldnt find any thing out of ordinary so I assumed it was throw out bearing. It is still going. I also have a 44 H done the same thing turned out bearing on main shaft was bad on it if that is case it will severely damage trany.
