super c stuck in gear.

i am stuck in reverse. the shifter will shift into other gears, but when you left off of the clutch in any gear other than neutral, the tracter dies.
the neutral position is actually in reverse. so when the tracter is in neutral, i can go in reverse. all other gears including the reverse position, the tracter seizes up. ] can someone help me out? thanks, james
