You need to make sure you have voltage at the coil. With the ignition switch in the on position you should have voltage on bothe small terminals on the coil. Use a test lite or volt meter set on DC voltage 15-20 scale. The points need to be open too. If there's no voltage present at the coil you need to check back at the switch to see if voltage is on the terminal that feeds voltage to your coil. These ignition switches are usually fed voltage from small terminal on the starter solenoid. Its usually close to the large battery cable on the solenoid. If there's no voltage from the switch to the coil you need to check for voltage from the solenoid to the switch. Run a temporary wire from your battery to the coil and see if the tractor will start. Clean those points with a piece of 320 wet or dry and clean those points and then take a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean the points. If you have a good condenser install it. Then pull that coil wire from the cap and hold it within 1/8-1/4" of a good ground while someone cranks the engine. Hal
