farmall 656, what are they worth

I have the oppportunity to buy a 1969 farmall 656 diesel, regular not hydro.Whats the true value of this tractor? What are they selling for? It has about 4300 hours on it, the motor has never been overhauled. It burns a little bit of oil only when really working. It has one hydrolic remote and a wide front end. The TA works good. The only thing that concerns me is that in fourth gear when pulling a heavy load will pop out of gear. He is asking $4000 for it. What is your opinion on this tractor. thanks for your thoughts
