Super A Tx, I put 3 different kinds of gaskets on my SMTA oil pan, all leaked. I tried gasket dressing on gasket, leaked. I tried grease on gasket, leaked. I tried permatex, leaked. I tried high temp permatex, leaked. Now I got this stuff that seems to work good. Its called "Right Stuff" from permatex. I think its pretty neat. It comes in an aerosol kinda can. You screw the nozzle on the end, then push it sideways, like a whip cream can. It seems thicker and more elastic than the permatex in the tube, plus its easy to lay a good bead down.
