Hi Johnson, the glow plug indicator was like a piece of a toaster element and it was covered with a stainless steel cap with holes in it so that you could see when the element glowed and it was time to engage the starter. Do you have an "L" handled glow plug switch on the right side of the dash or is the glow plugs activated by turning and pushing the ignition switch in like the 434? JimB
