yup i think the h carburetor has a curse or something. my h dripped when ever it wanted. had the carb apart a bunch of times, replaced needle and seats, adj float ect. finally found 3 things wrong. the bowl gasket was a little too wide, held the float open, then the float was bent a little and was rubbing on the lower bowl side, and third, like yours the pin would slide out of the float after you put the bowl back on. the shaft was loose in the support. squeezed the one end of the support so the pin wouldnt slide. finally got it to stop drippin.
