you can replace the seal by removeing the brake drum, just take the nut loose and pull off. Then you will have to get ahold of the old seal and pull it out. then press in the new one. The sealing serface is on the brake drum so you will have a bit of room. Becarefull of the wooddruff key as it will be loose and you dont want to push that into the transmition when reinstalling the drum.
