Fifth gear is modestly easy to repair, no split. The top off of the trans, the clutch shaft removed, and the fromt carrier with the gears on it come out the front. Keeping all the little rollers is done bu putting a cloth under the shafts where they seperate, and or tieing them with a string wrap as it comes apart. 4/5 slider, and constant mesh need to be replaced.
