Good news, They are easy. If the engine stopped with the pistons 1/2 way up it is a bit more difficult. THey are wet sleeves. They are sealed at the bottom with a "O"ring and at the top with a ring of the sleeve in a groove in the top of the block. They push right up and our with minimal effort. Ususlly a broomstick sized strut and wooden /plastic mallet will send them up. The crank can get in the way if it is sideways, so keep an eye on that to avoid damaging lower end parts, or nicking the crank. JimN
