stop and think if it is pos ground then neg would be the post to hook 6v to the coil. if it ran before dont need too much just hook a jumper to the coil and see if there is spark at the plug . i like to pull a plug hook the wire to it and turn it over if there is any spark at all andgas it w thereis ill run the timing is close. bought a B last summer he said he had it to try and start, Got it home wires were on wrong and the dist was so far out no way did he have a pop whatever got wires correct dist in time ran great never did anything else starts and runs super so same old think forget what former owner says as its not always good
