Just brought home 47 H HAPPY B_DAY EARLY TO HER I KNOW!!!! 6V positive ground vertical dist. You have to cross jump to get it to roll over "bought the switch tonight" but it rolls over fine. Fuel dripping from the carb after a bit so it floods so we have fuel. No spark thought at plugs. Now can i wire around to get this thing running to start i am thinking the guage box has shot internal...I miss my mags one wire on off haha...Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Make sure you have voltage at the coil. With the points open you should have voltage on both small terminals when the ignition switch is in the on position. Use a volt meter or test lite.
Clean those points with some 320 wet or dry and then use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean them several times. Make sure the point gap is at .020". Then see if tractor will start.

If I run a wire direct from the battery which side positive or negative? And should I fuse it?

stop and think if it is pos ground then neg would be the post to hook 6v to the coil. if it ran before dont need too much just hook a jumper to the coil and see if there is spark at the plug . i like to pull a plug hook the wire to it and turn it over if there is any spark at all andgas it w thereis ill run the timing is close. bought a B last summer he said he had it to try and start, Got it home wires were on wrong and the dist was so far out no way did he have a pop whatever got wires correct dist in time ran great never did anything else starts and runs super so same old think forget what former owner says as its not always good

Ya can just run a wire from the battery to the coil . Run a dollar bill through the points to make sure they are clean or a matchbook striker if they are real bad then a dollar bill . If that don't help try the the tune up kit and make sure that the distributor case is grounded well . If you can work on a mag everything else is similar except the source of the electricity to make the spark . Good luck . ...Randy

Well I plan too give it the works as I plan to piece two tractors take the best parts to make one good one..and one well soo soo the older one has a knock in the transmission so I was planning on just using it for a putt putt to fiddle with as that one I know has issues just wanted to hear it run once so I knew if I needed to tear it down or not to overhaul...btw it ran a couple months ago if you can believe the previous owner..

Lets start by giving it a new tune up. New Plugs, new plug wires, new points, and condenser, rotor, and new distributor cap. Maybe cleaning the carb out and getting a kit for it. And go from there then.
