I mount three point implements opposite the way you are planning. I have enough points around here so I fit them to the implement and they remain part of the implement. Occasionally I will use a top link if the implement doesn't have an adequate area to ridgedly fasten the points. IOW, the implement rotates around the rear of the point because there is not enough steel on the frame to make a solid attachment. I think my York rake is like that but I haven't used it in awhile.

The very first thing you should do is lose that grab hook. I would call it a suicide hook. You should never pull from that height.
