Now i may be wrong here but if my febel old mind remember wright the German diesels were all over the 16-1 and more like 17.5 as when they came out there was a lot of flap about not putting a hairdryer on them because of compression ratio . So here ya had better check before ya buy . I know the kits that i got had the correct ratio because they were the same piston that ya get from the friendly case ih store less the part # and i can not see payen a 100 bucks a hole over the cost of and aftermarket that is the same but come in a plain brown wrapper rather then the pretty red and white box , guess i am just plum cheap.
