Air lift questions

I have had someone donate a Farmall A to the cause. I haven't seen it yet but I saw a pix. It has a manual lift dozer on the front, a fast hitch on the back and an air lift. He is a greenie and needs space for a JD B. So: tell me of the Air lift, are there parts if I need them? Where does it get the air? How is it controlled and is there a book or instruction manual?
