Just a note that probably does not apply to you but bad gas can sometimes cause bad problems. I have a JD B here that had set in the shed for about 5 to 6 years because of a cracked head. Last Spring, I bought and installed a new head and set out to fire it up. I first took the sediment bowl off. The fuel in there was something like jello and stunk..the supply line...gummed up...the carb...gummed up...the fuel tank...gummed up...wound up a week of cleaning to get it so it worked. Bottom line is, fuel will go bad, if you are not going to run it, drain the fuel or put some additive in it to prevent this from happening.
