You may not have the float set correctly. Also if its a rubber tipped needle you may have to put a set in it for it to seal as it should. The way you put a set in it is the open up the carb and then pull the float off. Drop the needle back into the saet and tap on it a couple times. Also double check the you have the seat tight. Something else that might have happened when you open up the carb is, you broke some junk loose and now that junk is in one of the passages and clogging thing up. Any time you open up a carb its a good idea to soak it in carb cleaner and put a kit into it also
