If you add 68 and 13.6 you will get 81.6 inches. That will be from the widest part of one tire to the widest part of the other tire. 13.6 is the widest part of the tire cross section. Minimum center to center tread width on the M is 52 inches. 68 is the maximum tread width with the wheels dished in. Pay attention to the GVW (trailer + tractor weight) of your trailer. The typical 7000 lb GVW trailer is loaded to capacity, or more, width an M on it.
