The carb jets are probably plugged, take it and have it cleaned, what happened wih the 300 is that enough gas would seep through fill the bowl up so it would run for a little bit at idle but when I went to throw the power to it, it died. How's yer 300 coming, mine's all tucked in at the farm waiting to run the elevator when we start ear pickin. My two cents.
