All in-line four cylinder engines have the same firing order. I believe that also applies to V-4's and opposed fours. Don't know about X-4's. I think Henry Ford built some of those. It has always amazed me that the foundries included the four cylinder firing order on their block castings. Every kid with an interest in engines knows about the four cylinder sequence.
