The GM diesel, more commonly known as Detroit Diesel, had a Farmall M installation kit mfgd by DD or aftermarket. These tractors show up at Red Power Round-ups fairly regularly. Only the 2-71 was adapted.

I can sell you a 12V71 if you got a hankering to build something different.
