I've been thru this little dance on a lot of 'em.

The key is patience and a lot of Liquid Wrench penetrating oil. As a last resort, I use two tractors to help the operation along and just "bump" the clutch on one of the tractors.

Had a 766 back in the late 70s that was the worst I've ever seen. I hooked a 966 to one side and a 5020 John Deere to the other.

You might end up using a little heat on the tie rods. Hate to use it, but sometimes ya just got to.

Just keep at it and eventually, it will come. :>)
