It was great to meet you in person and to see the farm...plus your veritable stable of H's and M's! What a great feeling to see so much red under one roof. I was serious about giving you a hand, you know. On the mechanics side, I'm sure I could learn a thing or three from YOU. But I'm also available for a little hay work, or tobacco work or whatever--as long as red tractors are part of the picture. By the way, the Walworth County Fair starts today. Can't wait. They hold tractor pulls at 11:30 and 7:00 tonight. Take care, Gunn.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
