Mike, don't understand what you are referring to. IF it had a broken connecting rod, engine would more than likely be hammering really loud. If a push rod was broken or bent would be missing on one or more cylinders (like removing one of the spark plug wires from spark plug while running) If it is running OK, and not making any loud banging noises from within the motor, put on a muffler then see if it is still running quitely. If it isn't broke don't fix it!! Keith & Shawn
